Our volunteers have a fantastic time every Saturday helping to distribute food to needy families. There are few things more rewarding then giving back to others who are less fortunate. Our volunteers look forward the challenge. You can too!

 

We start at 8am every Saturday and are finished when we are done serving our clients, usually about 10:30am. You can come once a month, or as often as you like; we’d love to have you.

 

You can also donate to the Food Pantry. Regularly needed items are:

• Dry goods: You can donate Dry beans, rice and pastas, etc. However, it is more cost effective for us to buy these items through Food Share, the Ventura County regional food bank.
• Canned goods - vegetables, soups, refried beans, fruit etc.
• Baby items: Diapers, wipes and lotions. These are high demand items.

 

Kid Power Tutoring Center

Student learning is enhanced when tutors are regularly present. We prefer individuals that are teachers by vocation or have experience tutoring. We will run a background check on all volunteers.
