Mostly, our donors and volunteers focus on the work to be done. But…if you happen get us to talking, we have a lot to say.

Our clients are among the poorest of the struggling families in Ventura County. We serve the densely poverty stricken and hard working areas of El Rio and Nyland Acres, in Oxnard, California.

We have found that some of our clients and their children live on cold cement garage floors, have escaped human trafficking, work long hours under harsh conditions, and are just a generally economically challenged group of people.

Like all of us, they care about their communities and their children, and they reach out to each other to assist. The clients we serve generously come to help with our food pantry operations as well.
